Street Fight V Released

So, Street Fighter eh? There’s a real monster of a name in the video game world.

I think there’s fun to be had and a little bit of nostalgia too. Especially given that I didn’t play Street Fighter IV.

I remember always being excited but wary of the Street Fighter games. I never felt quite good enough to really appreciate it, but at the same time, it’s always hilarious to play casually with your mates in VS mode.

Although, I think the most fun I had with a fighting game was at Uni playing Soul Caliber on the amazing Sega Dreamcast. Two of my mates played for 14 hours straight…

Should we get SF V…? Having seen a few reviews come out and some footage I must say I’m tempted. I think there’s fun to be had and a little bit of nostalgia too. Especially given that I didn’t play Street Fighter IV.

Here’s a link to Amazon where you can pick it up for under £40.

Also check out some footage on the tubes…

I miss the Dreamcast. So many great games; Jet Set Radio, Chu Chu Rocket and (my personal favourite) Power Stone 2. Best console bar none.

I want to be bothered about this, but I haven’t had any interest in a one-on-one fighting game for a really long time.

    Best one-on-one fighting games:

    Street Fighter 2
    Tekken 2
    Mortal Kombat
    International Karate +

    That’s all I’ve got.
